Those are much better, nice job. I think thats enough to move onto lesson 2

    Next Steps:

You should move onto lesson 2. I would add boxes to your pool of warm up exercises so you can keep improving your convergences.

On your Super imposed lines while theres not major fraying I think it's important you take a little more time to " position your pen correctly at the starting point of your guideline " https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/superimposedlines overtime this will help build a habit of thinking before you make a mark. Work on tightening them up over time by ghosting to build solid muscle memory.

On your Tables of Ellipses they look good, just make sure you keep trying to fit them snugly into the table, It's important for future exercises.

On your Ellipses in planes there are a lot of "floating ellipses" https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/ellipsesinplanes this is a hard exercise though, and it does look like you were doing that so I think it's okay. I find that ghosting slower at first carefully around the edges and then increasing speed helps me fit them there better.

On your Rotated boxes did you copy the homework example? I'm asking because that turned out quite good. If you did reference it really hard to the point of copying I think you should go back and redo it, It's important to struggle through it ourselves so we can learn to use neighboring edges in 3d space. One more thing " You can use some strategically placed line weight to help clarify where certain forms overlap. Just make sure that when you add line weight, you're doing so with a confident stroke using the ghosting method, just as you would when initially drawing the line." https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/rotatedboxes though it seems optional I think it would be a good idea to do it now because we have to add line weight to every box in the 250 box challenge. It's totally up to you though.

    Overall you did good, goodjob!

    Next Steps:

Redo the rotated box exercise only if you copied the homework example. Make sure you keep ghosting, it'll help increase the accuracy of your lines without compromising flow. Uncomfortable recommends adding all of these exercises to a pool and picking one or two to practice for 15 - 30 minutes everyday as a warmup, It's really useful to go back to the written explanations of the assignment you chose for that day and just skim to make sure your doing everything correctly so you can keep improving. Move onto the 250 box challenge, it's horrible! But it's worth it! Find a comfortable amount of boxes you can do everyday and just spread it out over time so it's not so bad.

It looks like you understood the point of the exercises, they all look good. But when your doing super imposed lines make sure you take the time to "position your pen correctly at the starting point of your guideline" so theres not fraying on both ends https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/superimposedlines overtime this will help you build a habit of thinking before you make a line. I think it's a pass, goodjob!

    Next Steps:

Make sure you add these exercises to a pool and pick 1 - 2 to do everyday for 15 - 30 minutes as a warmup so you keep improving! Definitely move onto the 250 box challenge, it's tough but worth it.

You didn't add line weight which is important to help you boxes look solid. https://drawabox.com/lesson/250boxes

Other than that it looks like you understood the point of the exercise. Goodjob! Keep improving your convergences.

    Next Steps:

It's important you go back and add lineweight as shown here https://drawabox.com/lesson/250boxes

" One technique that is extremely useful both in reinforcing the illusion of solidity in our forms and in helping to organize our linework and clarify how different forms overlap is the use of line weight. " After you do that I say move on to lesson 2

It looks like you did everything right aside from lineweight. The one complaint I have is that your colored lines are all over each other so it's very hard to see if your ability to estimate convergences improved. Goodjob!

Hey so I don't know too much about dysgraphia so forgive me if this isn't relevant but this article might be worth a read http://medind.nic.in/ibv/t11/i11/ibvt11i11p912.pdf It's totally okay to do sessions in short bursts so you can stay accurate and build muscle memory.

On your Super imposed lines Theres fraying on both ends, it's important to "position your pen correctly at the starting point of your guideline" so you build a habit of thinking before you make a line.

On your Funnels It's important to make sure the centerline is cutting the ellipses in half equally so we can get used to aligning our ellipses to the central minor axis line.

It looks like you understood the point of the lessons so It's a pass from me.

As your next step I suggest you apply the tips above when your doing your warmup exercises. Work in short bursts so you can build accurate muscle memory. Maybe look into "essential tremors" and see if that sounds like your problem. It'd be good to start on the 250 box challenge and just space it out over along time. Good luck and good work!

On your super imposed lines theres a bit of fraying on both sides. It's important to take the time to " position your pen correctly at the starting point of your guideline" so you can build a habit of thinking before you put down a line.

On your ghosted planes I would suggest ghosting a bit more so you can practice stopping accurately on the end point. Keeping your original dots small and light helps them blend into the lines and make your drawings more solid looking.

On your rough perspective exercise your supposed to plot the points back to the horizion line instead of the vanishing point so you can analyze your mistakes.

On your Organic perspective exercise your line quality dropped considerably, remember to ghost until your confident and priorize flow over accuracy.

I'd say you got the point of the exercises so I think it's a pass.

    Next Steps:

Uncomfortable recommends putting these exercises into a pool and choosing one or two to do everyday (15 - 30 minutes) as a warmup. I suggest applying the tips above on those warmups to make sure you keep improving. Good job!

So most of your lines are extending in the wrong direction, they're coming towards the viewer instead of away towards the vanishing point. Uncomfortable has examples of this here https://drawabox.com/lesson/250boxes

For example when you can see the top plane of a box the lines converge downward if you see the bottom they converge upward.

    Next Steps:

I would suggest re-reading the box lesson and then doing atleast 15 - 20 more boxes with correct convergences.

The Art of Brom

The Art of Brom

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
