This is actually a "back to the past" thing, as a teen I was really fond of drawing, also as a career path. Well, something went wrong :) Couple of decades later, here I am.

Funny thing, when I look at the exercises on paper, I think - "this is quite ok" pat on the back... When I look at the uploaded photos, I go to mode "WaS I EvEn FoLlOwInG InStRuCtIoNs!?"

Either way, totally pumped to get into 250 Box challenge :) and continue with 50% of fun time (which is tough when wanting to have this awesome end result...)

All the best to you all & Keep on drawing !

It looks like you understood the point of the exercises, they all look good. But when your doing super imposed lines make sure you take the time to "position your pen correctly at the starting point of your guideline" so theres not fraying on both ends https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/superimposedlines overtime this will help you build a habit of thinking before you make a line. I think it's a pass, goodjob!

Next Steps:

Make sure you add these exercises to a pool and pick 1 - 2 to do everyday for 15 - 30 minutes as a warmup so you keep improving! Definitely move onto the 250 box challenge, it's tough but worth it.

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
