Hey juvenoia everything looks pretty good but from what I saw you had a bit of trouble with the elipse table exercise and with the funnel one you didn't fill up the entire page and make the elipses bigger with each new one like it said

And your boxes in the rotated exercises where disjointed and not converging to a point

But that's OK because you'll get a lot of milage in the 250 box challenge so don't fret

    Next Steps:

Read the elipse funnel exercise page and the video again.then Do one page of the elipse funnel exercise so we can see if you improve. Also Remember to fill the page

hey paperdaisy i look over your work and from what I see, in the Organic boxes exercise you didn't balance out the size difference with the boxes.u want the boxes to gradually go from big to small in the exercise but in yours you have 3 big boxes and the rest super small

and it seems your haveing trouble with your lines. it's important to draw from the shoulder and plan your lines with the ghost method

anyhow this is the first lesson and your going to practice this stuff more in your warmups so don't sweat it

    Next Steps:

work on your ghost method and draw with your shoulder. on to the 250 box challenge heathen

hey space girl. i look over your boxes and I think you did a great job going through the challenge. I notice that the inside lines of the box was not converging well and a pain for you to figure out. richy pin this picture on discord https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/365180330103013388/892934905800052826/image0.png

and I found this out on my own and it makes drawing the inside a whole lot easier to find the center of the inside first

anyways I hope this helps and if your confuse you can ask me any questions and I can help explain more

    Next Steps:

head forth to lesson 2 adventurer and practice more boxes with that inside technique

hey law the picturesare high quality enough and looks fine.

when it comes to the lesson I fought you did a great job on it. I'll go through the parts you need to work on.first off some of your ghosted lines are wobbly and not confident and bold as they should be. i don't hope long you have been drawing but it's important to learn this because this is important later on during dab, but don't sweat it you'll have lots of time practicing this with warmups

also your boxes in the rotate boxes exercise are small and sone of the extreme box rotations aren't completed yet . you want to make the boxes big so we can clearly see what your doing right and what you're doing wrong.

overall I fought you did good despite a few mistakes. this is all I because your gonna move on to the 250 box challenge and get a lot of good mileage any way. good job

    Next Steps:

go work on your ghost method and never give up

hello rgb. I have look over your box challenge and your boxes look good and are drawn with boldness and confidence.but there are a few improvement you can make

Another thing is that some of your boxes where not converge correctly.it seems on some of them you extend your lines the way they were converging while they should be extending towards the vanishing point and not the viewer so we can understand the mistakes were making when making the box and why. this is a common mistake so don't beat yourself up

Another thing is there is a page of boxes that doesn't have their lines extended, you need to extend your lines so you can see what mistakes you're making to help decrease your margin of error

The majority of your boxes have the same amount of shallow foreshortening. The shallow boxes look great but its important to varie between dramatic and shallow foreshortening so you can get more mileage/comerablity in draw those two types

Overall you did fine but they need more work, i recommend you re read the lesson and practice drawing 30 boxes with the critiques i have given

    Next Steps:

    draw 30 more boxes

    -in 3 point perspective

-extended lines being extended to the vanishing point

    -5 boxes per page

    • do it all with the ghosting method

hey beermo, everything ls looking pretty good on your work but there is only one problem i notice.some of the lines in the ghosted lines exersize is sometimes bending to the other side and not being stright. the best way to fix that is to imagine drawing the bend to the other side just like how Uncomfortable explans in this vid https://youtu.be/LkJG6pKTuRc?t=473 its a common mistake so dont sweat it.

other then that everything looks great and i dont see any big issues except maby construct your boxes in the rough perspective. you did good my man. contiune to the box challenge and kick some butt

    Next Steps:

work on your lines with the thing i said above. go kick some butt in the 250 box challenge because it will help you improve

hey poatatosoup your work looks good for the most part but in the table of ellipses exercise your ellipses where a bit off and it seems a bit rushed. some ellipses wernt even drawn through twice. you should take your time, plan out your ellipses by ghosting them first, and excuteing them by going though them twice. Overall i think you did a good job but a little rush it seems. id say continue working your ellipses with warmups in the future with and ill think youll get better

    Next Steps:

work on your ellipses and ghosting more through warmups

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
