hey poatatosoup your work looks good for the most part but in the table of ellipses exercise your ellipses where a bit off and it seems a bit rushed. some ellipses wernt even drawn through twice. you should take your time, plan out your ellipses by ghosting them first, and excuteing them by going though them twice. Overall i think you did a good job but a little rush it seems. id say continue working your ellipses with warmups in the future with and ill think youll get better

Next Steps:

work on your ellipses and ghosting more through warmups

Pretty good work, the only things i'd like to point out is that you could give your boxes a bit more rotation in the organic perspectives, although you'll work on this a lot in the 250 box challenge. Also, make sure to continue ghosting lines when drawing boxes to keep the edges straight.

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
