There is a small amount of fraying in your super imposed lines where they start. Your ghosted lines are done well and confidently and so are your ghosted planes. over all well done.I think you could do with redoing a page of super imposed lines this time just being careful to start the line at the same place each time

Everything here looks great. The only thing I can see that you could have done differently is drawing the plotted perspective boxes using a ruler. however I still believe this is a pass. well done.

    Next Steps:

go on to do the 250 boxes challenge.

my critique was too harsh and Crissyps said it better.I've chosen to agree with her critique instead. I'm new to critiqueing, and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to rewrite this but here we are.

    Next Steps:

do another page of ghosted lines.Do a new table of ellipses.Do the funnel page again.go back and draw through your boxes.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

in this excercise I focused on trying to keep my lines streight and draw them wiftly as well as locking my wrist better thus sacrificing abselute acuracy.I hope its good enough. https://imgur.com/jqCUqZT

thank you so much for the feedback I definitely struggle with line confidence and especially drawing shorter lines from the shoulder. I'll post my homework soon

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
