Nice! That's really good. You should go on to the 250 boxes challenge now. Good luck!

Right! Thanks a lot, I think I did the organic perspective boxes without understanding it very well... I'll probably do some more :D

Nice! The ammended exercises are all good. The only thing I'd say you can work on is to avoid repeating lines. Also, your ghosted lines tend to curve a little bit. But it's very clear that you got better: the lines stopped curving and the repeating lines got rarer! 250 boxes it is

It's really good, but I think you missed some of the exercises on lesson 1. Namely, 1 page filled with plotted perspective, 2 filled with rough perspective and 1 with rotated boxes. Maybe you missed them (if that's the case, check this link again: https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/6/homework) or just forgot to send them... just send them below and you should be able to continue to the 250 boxes challenge!

    Next Steps:

1 filled page of the Plotted Perspective exercise

2 filled pages of the Rough Perspective exercise

1 filled page of the Rotated Boxes exercise

It's really good, just try not to repeat your lines: stick with ghosted lines and draw your first line confidently. Just something you might have missed from the instructions: (1) in the plotted perspective exercise you should do everything with a ruler, such that every line goes right into the vanishing point; (2) in the rough perspective exercise you might want to draw a line between your square's lines and the horizontal plane (not the vanishing point! the point is to see how accurate your rought perspective is!). Before going to the 250 boxes challenge, I suggest you retry these two exercises. Good luck!

It's really good. Try not to repeat lines, however; especially on rough perspective: that's what ghosted lines are for! Some of the boxes on organic perspective are a bit off, but I think that's the most difficult part of lesson 1. Drawing 250 boxes will surely help :D

It's really good, the only exercise I would say needs more attention is the rotating boxes since they don't seem to be rotating. Especially the boxes on the horizontal axis are converging to the same vanishing point. But that's pretty hard to do anyway so no need to worry!

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
