PRocrastinated a long time on finishing this, but some time at home has helped me recharge and get excited about learning to fraw again.

Quite happy with most of this, but still learning how to get organic perspective right. I can see where it is going wrong, but still need to develop to the point where my grasp of the concept is strong enough to not make those perspective mistakes as often as i am at the moment.

All work done on A3 media as working big is harder and helps any flaws or mistakes easier to pick out.

It's really good, but I think you missed some of the exercises on lesson 1. Namely, 1 page filled with plotted perspective, 2 filled with rough perspective and 1 with rotated boxes. Maybe you missed them (if that's the case, check this link again: https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/6/homework) or just forgot to send them... just send them below and you should be able to continue to the 250 boxes challenge!

Next Steps:

1 filled page of the Plotted Perspective exercise

2 filled pages of the Rough Perspective exercise

1 filled page of the Rotated Boxes exercise

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

You're absolutely right. I uploade this just before midnight and seemed to have missed out some of the pictures. I'll get it amended ASAP. Thank you.

::edit:: Album has been amended with the missing work, thanks again for the heads up.

Nice! The ammended exercises are all good. The only thing I'd say you can work on is to avoid repeating lines. Also, your ghosted lines tend to curve a little bit. But it's very clear that you got better: the lines stopped curving and the repeating lines got rarer! 250 boxes it is

I know exactly what you mean about repeating lines, I keep cathcing myself doing it when I warm up and you should hear me grumbling to myself when I do haha!

I feel like I progressed well with the work and the imminent 250 boxes should prove enlightening!

Thank you so much :)

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
