Hi sorry for a long delayed, I finally completed my 20 boxes. I do have difficult time with foreshortening boxes.

Hello PencilPeach, I will try my best to give feedback for your lesson 1 because this is my first time. I'm sorry if my English is crappy. Hope this helps.

    Superimposed Lines

Lines look pretty good, but I see that some of your lines have fraying on both ends on the bottom of the pages.

Should place the pen carefully at the start of each line.

    Ghosted lines and planes

For both of them, I’ll say you did a fine job. I see no wobbling lines and repeated lines for the ghosted planes. Only one minor problem for your ghosted lines is that few of them curve towards the endpoint in some spots.

    Ellipses

Ellipse tables: You did really well keeping the ellipses kept within the bounds. Nice to see them touch each other, without overlapping.

Funnels: Good job trying to keep them aligned to the central minor axis line. The only mistake I see is the ellipses are not inside the funnel shape. Take your time keeping them inside the funnel shape.

    Boxes

Plotted perspective: Looks good but some of the boxes have sketchy lines. Also be careful with your lineweight.

Rough perspective: I don’t really see any mistakes.

Organic perspective: Very good. Be careful with your line weight for a few of them, don’t make it too dark.

Rotated Boxes: Very good finishing this difficult lesson. The only mistake I see is that your few boxes aren’t rotating at the bottom right.

This community member feels the lesson should be marked as complete, and 3 others agree. The student has earned their completion badge for this lesson and should feel confident in moving onto the next lesson.

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
