Thanks for your patience. Was going for the record for 'took longest to complete' (I kid).

But truely thank you for all the hard work you put into the course. I know its helped a ton in my understanding of 3D space but additionally your passion for sharing your skills in an accesible way is admirable.

Best of luck as you continue to overhaul the course. I have no doubt it will be worth the blood, sweat, and tears.

Ok. I think I get it now (hopefully). I would kindly request more orthographic examples for future students. I think the demos I used did not focus on the orthographic approach as much as I think you were looking for. Which I fully understand is difficult with the great amount of time spent reviewing homework.

This round I tried to tune in closely to the mouthwash and mouse examples since those prioritized the orthrographic approach over say the cab demo or the shelby mustang demo. I also did my best to find ways to break down curves into a series of lines that could later be softened into a curve.

    Anyways, feedback always welcome.

    Hi Umcomfortable,

Apologies for the mishap with uploading images. I made one with just cylinders in boxes :

Thank you very much for your detailed and helpful feedback. I wont lie I still struggled with the cylinder aspect of the assignment, but tried to not shy away from at least attempting them (even if not totally successful). Textures continue to be a struggle, but after reviewing the previous textures lesson, I hope these additional pages are at least a little better

I placed the revivions at the original link, which can be found here for your convenience

    Thank you for your time.

    Thank you for your time

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. I will keep those items in mind. I have also attached the missing organic perspective page (that was my bad).

    Thanks!

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
