    Lines:

Minimal wobble in the lines, your ghosted lines look strong and confident.

I only see a few lines with fraying at both ends (the curved ones mainly).

I don't see arching lines, you've kept your lines nice and straight.

You've placed a starting and ending dot on your ghosted lines and planes.

I don't see any repeateed lines where they shouldn't be.

    Ellipses

Ellipses are drawn through 2-3 times each

On the ellipse tables, ellipses are kept within the bounds, each

ellipse touching each other, without overlapping.

Ellipses are drawn smooth and confidently

On funnels, the minor axis cuts ellipses in 2 symetrical halves.

    Boxes:

Again, confident lines here and no repeated lines.

All boxes have been drawn through (except organic perspective but its not required there)

On rough perspective, width lines are parallel to horizon and height lines perpendicular to horizon.

Line correction method has been used on rough perspective.

Corners are nice and close on your rotated boxes and all boxes appear to be rotating.

Overall, really well done, clean homework. Nicely done! You've set yourself up well for the 250 box challenge.

    Lines:

Wobble in lines: I see a bit of wobble on the lines, especially in the planes. But your superimposed lines look confident.

Fraying on both ends: This happened a bit on your superimposed lines. Not bad enough for a do-over, but just watch out for it.

Arching lines: I didn't see any of this!

Ghosted lines: I didn't see many start and end dots here... some of the lines just trail off. Starting a line with a starting and ending dot is important for applying the ghosting method, and that it should not be skipped.

Repeating lines: this wasn't a problem for you

    Elipses:

Your ellipses were drawn through 2 to 3 times.

On the ellipse tables, most of the ellipses were kept within the bounds.

    The ellipses were drawn confidently.

On funnels, the minor axis (the line in the middle) cut ellipses in 2 symetrical halves.

    Overall, really nice ellipses!

    Boxes:

All boxes (except organic perspective) were drawn through, with confident lines. Nice!

On rough perspective, width lines were parallel to horizon and height lines perpendicular to horizon. The line correction method was used as well. Looks good.

On rotated boxes, corners between boxes were nice and close. All the boxes were rotating too.

    Nice job on organic perspective.

    Next Steps:

Overall everything looks good except for that one page of ghosted lines. You need to plot a start and end point. Just redo that page and you're all good for this lesson.

    Lines:

Not too much wobble on the lines, looks like you drew them at a good speed.

On the first two pages some of your lines are fraying on both ends, especially the curved lines. They should not be fraying at the starting point. Make sure you place your pen carefully at the beginning of each line.

You have some arching lines, but I mostly see them on the longer lines you tried so thats ok, its normal with starting to draw from the shoulder. Just watch out for it and try to correct for it by arching in the opposite direction when you notice it happening.

Looks like all your lines on the ghosted lines and planes have been plotted with a start and end dot. Nicely done there. And you did not repeat lines which is good.

    Ellipses

Looks like you drew through all your ellipses twice, which is good.

On the ellipse tables, you have a few ellipses that aren't touching each other or the edge. But most of them are ok. It looks like you pointed out where you went wrong too.

Your lines on most of the ellipses are confident and smooth, nice!

On funnels, some of the ellipses arent quite touching, but the minor axis (the line in the middle) cuts the ellipses into 2 symetrical halves which is good.

    Boxes

    Plotted perspective looks ok.

On rough perspective, you drew through all the boxes which is good. They are a little hard to see but I can tell that the width lines are parallel to the horizon. And you plotted them back to the horizon line. Looks good there.

Nice work on the rotated boxes! The corners are nice and close.

    Organic perspective looks nice.

    Next Steps:

Just the first exercise (repeated lines) needs revision. Just do half a page with some straight and curved lines, making sure there is no fraying at the starting point.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Lines:straight lines look good not too much wobble. Your curved lines have some fraying on both ends.

Your ghosted lines have a bit of wobble, remember the priority is confident not necessarily accurate lines. It looks like you have the points plotted out which is good.

Ellipses: it looks like some of them haven't been drawn through multiple times. Doing that will help you get confident lines.

Your funnels look nice and symmetrical

Good job on the boxes, they look good! I like your organic perspective.

    Next Steps:

Ellipse exercise: draw through all of the ellipses 2 or 3 times.

Sure no problem, giving good critiques is something I also want to improve on. Thanks for the checklist.

I know what you mean.. the last 3 also kicked my ass. Honestly though, for being new to drawing your stuff looks really nice! My only suggestion would be to add some shading and line weights to the boxes to make them stand out more clearly.

    Next Steps:

Looks complete to me! Like I said above, just add some shading and line weights to the boxes for future lessons.

Your lines have tons of energy! On some of the perspective exercises, were you getting a bit bored/impatient? Some of the lines are not completely connected. And for the organic cube exercise, it looks some of the lines were drawn a bunch of times instead of using the ghosting method to get them right the first time.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
