Super Imposed Lines look good and smooth.

The other links don't seem to be working though.

It's a lot easier to critique work that's collected into an imgur album, so try to post them together :)

Next Steps:

Group work into an imgur album and check if the links work. I'll check it once it's been updated :)

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Oh, my apologies. I thought that selecting the link address and pressing "Create Link" would do the job.

Here is the whole album. Thanks mate!

Awesome!

Ok so apparently the main point of this lesson is to get used to drawing strong confident lines and it looks like you nailed that, so well done!

Your ghosted lines looked pretty accurate starting out and got better by the end of the lesson so great work there too.

I think you should keep practicing is the ellipses. You did great in that you drew over at most twice or three times and then lines are quite smooth. Just keep practicing those maybe as a warm-up while you continue on.

The only ones that look off are the rotated boxes and the organic perspective exercise, but they are supposed to be difficult and the main point of those is to just do them, which you did! You should get a better idea of how the boxes should look during/after the 250 box challenge.

All in all, great job!

Next Steps:

Practice ellipses as a warm-up. Go for the 250 box challenge. Good luck!

Thanks a lot!!

The ellipses are something that I noticed as well and have been doing them on warm-ups quite often as a result.

Anyway, I appreciate your response!

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
