Didn't have a lot of time today so just did a few sketches.

I liked the idea of having a faerie mansion built onto a piece of driftwood floating down a river.

So much more to explore with this i think, like i wanted to include a little cavity in the part of the trunk that is sunken to create a pool that would allow water to be fed in but would be small enough to still protect the faeries from the aquatic life below.

Also some kind of trap/net to capture small insects as a food source. Could be cool to do some interior sketches too.

I'll stop now otherwise this is going to go on for a while.
