Hello,

I see your work and a good thing that I can say is that it's a progressive in positive work.

Lines : You start infact pretty rough on super imposed lines especially in longer lines but then take some patience and do better on ghosted lines and ghosted planes.

I appreciate that you add some curves.

Ellipses :Same for the ellipses.

Rough on table of ellipses but then better in ellipses in planes and much more in funnels.

So for those two (super imposed line and table of ellipses) I suggest you, through next lesson, to stop on them as a warm-up a little bit more.

Rough perspective :Only 'cause I know that you have now to deal with the 250 box challenge, the one advice I can give you is to do 1 page more of rough perspective before tackle that next lesson.

Rotated boxes and organic perspective :

You're done a good job on this.

The only thing I may suggest you, referring only on the organic perspective, is to try not to correct the lines you've done with another line.

The purpose of using the felt-tip pen is precisely to see the mistakes so to know where we have to improve.

That's it, I hope my review will be clear enough and useful.

Have a great continuation of exercising and having fun. :)

Next Steps:

A part from doing super imposed line and table of ellipses as warm-ups + 1 page of rough perspective(before the next lesson), breathing and ghosting more through, I think if you continue as you do, I can compliment you on the work and say that for me the lesson is completed and you can move on.

Hi, sorry I burnt out. Now I am planning to get back, but not sure how to get back. Should I restart from lesson 1 or start from next task (250 boxes challenge)?? I have nowhere to ask this question.

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
