Lesson 7: Applying Construction to Vehicles

Hi,
its pretty late, and i forgott almost every question i wanted to ask you. Anyway. I am planing to do the lessons 3-7 at least two more times, so i have plenty of time to ask you. I hope that is ok?
So i overstudied the first 4 days an abrams M1 tank (and noticed, that my tanks did'nt look right, when i tried to do it as correct as i can in every possible1/5 steps...). so i let them out.
I changed my approach pretty heavily, as i draw in the first days much to strictly (there is nothing left of this studies in the homework). Thats why i draw almost everything freehand (beside drawing number 2). I hope that it is ok, that i have done it like that. I did'nt add a lot of texture to most of the wheels... sorry for that.
Intried the "shading" to show the round forms and noticed that it feels quite familiar to the shading method of a cylinder, right?
I am still not totaly aware of how this works...
I had a lot of respect with the sportcars. i will try more next time!!!
One last question. You mentioned a book in your last answer (How to draw from Scott Robertson). I might have this book since a month and i might even had a look into it. So, would it be ok, if i try to accomplish things from the book within a lesson? not in a way, that it changes the lesson, or the methology of the course of course!! You might say "i am not S Roberts, and so i am not using his stuff in my course", then i would say "you're just a damn good teacher, and therefore might give me a tip with this and that?" would this be ok? Or i had the idea to use a brushpen with the goal of drawing lines with 0.5 mm thickness, because i am still pretty wobly and press the pen way to much and to improve lineweight things.
So, if this ideas are bullshit, just say it streight. I m just pretty happy, that i made this course, as i feel, that i have learned very much in here and want to learn more...
Thank you very much again!!
