Here it is and you can see not even completed due to again seeing mistakes pop up. The only box that's remotly close was the eigth and final box (Which is quiet a drop from 17 attempts) but I'm not happy. Now I feel I will have to do this again and suffer; It's like I'm doing the 250 boxes all over again at this rate: https://imgur.com/a/uEuNRue

I guess another 2 pages or more of the same thing regardless of how boxes turn up I'm guessing is the next thign I'll be assigned with . I'm just tired, frustrated, and just wanting to finish this challange; it's gone on way too long. Sorry for whinning and moaning, but once again like when doing the original 250 I'm at my wits end with how many more times will I need to do this until it's deemed I understand this and can move on. At least you are being patient with me which I know isn't easy. I hope this doesn't make you want to quit or give up on me. I'm certainly not trying to make anyone do so.

Yup, like you said I want you to do 2 pages without redoing them. It's very important that you learn to do things at the first go. Whenever your boxes come out wrong, and you realize you made a mistake, just keep going. Don't leave a box unfinished.

Learning how to deal with a mistake and to keep going with it is a big part of drawabox as well, ignoring that and just redoing the box or throwing the page away is taking that big part of drawabox apart.

Good luck and keep it up!

Next Steps:

2 of boxes with 5-6 boxes per page as I required earlier, finishing each box and not redoing anything at all.

After over 2 hours I have it. Again I see the improvments despite 1 box being wonky and a couple extreme examples angle wise. Because this time really thinking things through got me to get all the lines to connect. That is more the victory and while some slight mistakes were noticed, this time I am much more pleased.

The two things I will point out I noticed during this; first the inking lines. I don't know if it was me or the pen. I tried switching pens out but I feel at times my lines faded and weren't as sharp. I think it might be on me this time, not sure how that's going to affect the reviewing. But if you see lines thicker than others, that's probably why. The other thing is more after thinking things over I feel it's a bit different. Altough you've been very helpful in taking the time to help me, I feel all the improvment has been more on me and has increased sub-consciously. Sure the directions of what to do next has been provided. But through doing this over and over, the learning has come through that and not just being taught. That's just what I think on that, might be wrong.

Once more recover well and thanks for helping even now:

Alrighty, so now that you are following the instructions and you aren't repeating pages or lines as they come off wrong we can start with the actual critique!:

A few important things I've noticed:

Sometimes you're extending lines the wrong way.

When applying the line extension method, lines have to be extended away from the viewer.

A way to make sure you do this correctly 100% of the times, is to always extend the lines away from the center dot of the Y, as shown here:.

Next thing is that if you extend all your lines correctly you'll realize that sometimes your lines are diverging

It's important that you make sure that all your lines on each set get together.

If you already know that and still have trouble making your lines get together try following this tutorial step by step. That said, I want you to do 1 page more. Make sure you focus on all your lines getting convergence together and that you extend your lines correctly with the method I explained. Good luck and keep up the good work!

Make sure that the boxes are on shallow perspective, as those are the ones you're having trouble with the most

Next Steps:

1 more page of boxes

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
