Oh my God was this unbelievably more difficult then lesson one.

Arrows and organic forms were not bad, pretty fun actually.

Textures were hell for me making me even lose interest in drawing for good half a month and then I just gave up on dissection (sorry I know it's bad it's just impossible for me to do it, I spent a whole week on the analysis alone and its crap).

Form intersection made my brain melt but it was still way easier then textures and the sausage piles were very fun.

Honestly I'm just hoping to slip by without the textures, but my hopes are not high lol.

Don't skimp out on the textures. DaB guy says to do all of the exercises. I know it's intimidating for you, but if you just push yourself, the worst that can happen is that you mess up and if you mess up, that's what this community is for.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
