Arrows are on the right track overall. A few inconsistencies here and there. One thing that comes to mind is some arrows should compress more when they're farther away. First page was good. Try to exaggerate the compression.

Organic forms have a number of problems. Some have ends of different sizes, some which are a bit pointy. Remember that there ends should be balls connected to a tube of consistent with. Curves/ellipses have their degrees all the same or are inconsistent where there's no correlation with the perspective. Some ellipses are misaligned from where the minor axis would have been. It makes the flow look a bit awkward. (Sorry about the wobbliness that's in my edits but I was doing this with my finger. I don't have a tablet but hope you can make sense of it.) Here the organic forms exercise lesson if you need a refresher.

On the textures, there's a lot of unused space as the texture gets more light and sparse. On the dissections some textures don't apply the dense/sparse transition so be careful. Also, I don't know if it's the camera, but there's white spots where the shadows are meant to be. Make sure you're filling them entirely and not leave anything behind. Other than that, you're doing great so far. Getting those textures down will come with practice, observation, markmaking and a willingness to mess up if you're not getting it. If textures are giving you trouble, i recommend doing the 25 texture challenge.

On the form intersections, the first page was supposed to consist of only boxes. So far, the shapes are nice and solid. Boxes are shallow as they should be but there are small groups of forms on some pages. In those cases, you could just add a shape to bridge the gaps between them and the main group of shapes. Other than that, you seem to have a good understanding of how these shapes relate to one another. Good job!

Finally the organic intersections. The forms are too solid and aren't sagging in places they should. Conventional shapes like boxes and cylinders are meant to convey solidity. However, on later lessons, that won't be enough- especially when dealing with organic creatures like insects where their legs have gesture. Sausages tackle both problems by striking a balance between solidity and fluidity. Another issue is that some forms look like they're about to fall-they need to be more stable-so try to imagine them in their final resting point. Here's an image of what I'm talking about.

Overall you're doing fine. That's my critique but I can't mark it as complete unfortunately (unless you want to do additional work). Please read the instructions carefully before posting if you want your work to get critiqued by someone.

Next Steps:

if you decide to, here's what you're missing:

1 page of dissections

1 page of boxes

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Thank you for taking the time to look over my submission. Very well, I will do the missing pages and get back to you. I'm not sure how i managed to miss the line about the first page being only filled with boxes but no matter

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
