hi there, i'll be handling this critique
you shouldn't really be disappointed to yourself as you've made it this far, not only does this challenge help deepen your spatial reasoning skills but it also shows your desire to learn in the boxes that you've shown, so keep persevering throughout this course and be proud on what you've accomplished, with that being said,
-
you've done great with experimenting different orientations of your boxes, as experimenting things will surely help deepen your understanding of it.
-
you're extension lines are also extended in the right direction, and you've also applied both dramatic and foreshortening into this challenge while sticking to a maximum of 5-6 boxes per page, this just means that you followed the instructions of the page by heart, great work!
-
you're application of line weight are sometimes inconsistent as there are times where you've applied too much or just about right, superimposing at-least twice should suffice
-
you're converging lines are also in the right track, there are some hiccups but you seem to know how to converge a set of lines, but for safe measure i'll link this image here and this image here and tell you that a line should always converge by a set, not by pairs, and will never diverge from a vanishing point and you should never make your lines parallel due to perspective.
-
you're hatching lines are looking great, there are times where it became a bit sloppy, but most of the times it looks great! although it is said to be optional; you've chosen the right track on applying hatching lines onto your boxes, great work!
-
some of your inner corners are looking great, but there are times where you suffer from it, mainly on your 250th box. i'll link this approach here by user kentobento from discord as it is a great approach on how to tackle the inner corner.
with all of that being said, congratulations on finishing this challenge! this is a pretty solid submission, and is a very tiring challenge, hopefully you've applied the 50/50 rule as well, as said here in lesson 0. once again don't be disappointed on yourself and be proud on what you've accomplished, i will now mark this lesson as complete
Next Steps:
move on to lesson 2
