Hey there fdottori, I'm TA Sven and I'll be going over your work today so let's get started.

Starting off with your super imposed lines you're doing a good job trying to stay with a confident execution using your shoulder. There's only a little wobbling and your starting points are consistent showing you're taking your time setting them up. Your ghosted lines are on the right track but still need some more practice. You're going a little slow and trying to steer your pen instead of trusting the muscle memory from the ghosting method so keep practicing executing confidently and trusting the method.

Your ellipses are looking really good. They're shaped nicely with no flat parts or points and they are drawn through correctly and consistently. They are packed tightly in the bounds of the planes and in your tables they are packed neatly so there's no room for ambiguity. In your funnels exercises you're doing a good job keeping your minor axes aligned to the funnel axis for the most part. Your ellipses are weakest here but that's understandable because there are so many things to balance here. Overall, great job. Keep it up in warm ups.

Moving on to your rough perspective boxes there are a few things to point out. Your horizontal lines are mostly parallel to the horizon but your verticals are not perpendicular. Make sure you are planning each line with equal amounts of care and paying attention to how they should be oriented. The mechanical execution of your lines are nice here showing ghosting and shoulder usage so that's great. Your converging lines are on the right track and you correctly applied your extension lines so with time your accuracy will improve.

Moving on to your rotated boxes, good job on pushing to completion. Our one and only goal for students is a completed attempt to the best of your abilities so you can be exposed to these new types of spatial problems and solutions. You do a pretty good job rotating your boxes all things considered, and your individual lines are decent in quality. On some boxes you could have pushed the rotation much further, so give this gif some love and study how the rotation is driven by the motion of the vanishing points. The hatching on your lines is neatly done and obviously drawn with care so great job there! Additionally, you could have packed your boxes much tighter together so you could leverage adjacent lines as perspective guides. One more thing: you could have drawn larger to give your brain more room to reason through these spatial puzzles but overall this is a good start and you should pat yourself on the back for pushing through!

Finally, let's take a look at your organic perspective. Your compositions are nice and you drew lots of boxes which is great for mileage. You have a good arrangement of big, medium, and small forms to convey depth well and your overlapping forms help the forms appear to inhabit the same space. All of this serves to sell the illusion of 3d space on your flat sheet of paper. Your perspective is off to a nice start - you are being mindful of your lines converging so that's good to see. Overall, a good attempt at this exercise and overall good job of lesson 1.
