Your work is definitely way better, you nailed this exercise.

And also remember to take breaks if you need to, when it comes to boxes you'll have enough time to face them in the box challenge so don't worry

Next Steps:

Send the next page and the funnels please. good luck

I apologize I've been so busy. Took a few months longer than I thought to finish. Oh well, it's finished now. I hope it turned out okay.

Hey, it is good to hear from you again and don't worry, I am still here doing the critiques. I remember that you were working on digital, but keep in mind that I'm critiquing your work as if it were done with ink.

Your tables of ellipses are looking tidy rather than rushed, the only thing that I want to point out is that you should aim to draw smooth and evenly shaped ellipses, this also goes for the ellipses on the funnels.

On the funnels proper you are doing a good job spacing them and fitting them snugly, the only thing you need to keep working on is the alignment, you should not have any tilted ellipses. Keep these things in mind for your future practices.

Well, that is it for now, I'll go ahead an mark this lesson as complete now move on to the box challenge. Good luck!!

250 Box Challenge

Thank you. I shall work on the 250 box challenge whenever I have time. I tried my hardest to make sure the ellipses were even, but also I wanted to show my experience level. It seemed like some days are more difficult to draw where the hand and mind won't work together, but I wanted to get this assignment done and draw as much as I can every week. Thank you once again, especially for allowing me to move on. I enjoyed this lesson, but I cannot wait to tackle the box challenge.

Ellipse Master Template

Ellipse Master Template

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
