It's alright mistakes happens.

for the funnel exercise i noticed that the ellipses you made are extremely wobbly, good ellipses should be executed with confidence. try ghosting the ellipses for as many time as possible before you put down the mark you have all the time in the world to do this so please take your time and give it your all for every mark you made. In fact when i looked back at your exercises it seems that you were trying to get through the course as fast as you could, this is somewhat concerning, the point of these courses aren't to be done as quickly as possible; it is to teach you the ways of mark marking and to give us to visualize things in 3D. the chances of getting these goals would greatly diminish as you rush through them hence once you step in to the next exercise i highly suggest that you would take your time to make every single mark you make the best one you could with your abilities. This isn't a race, not a marathon even the creator of this course describe the journey you're taking as something more of a cross continental journey so take your time and dont try to rush it alright? Also try to incorporate the ellipses, ghosted planes and superimposed lines to your warm up routine you'll need to practice them a lot and maybe consider going over the lesson material again too there's plenty of pointers in them that'll help you tremendously.

Next Steps:

move on to the 250 boxes challenge

This community member feels the lesson should be marked as complete, and 2 others agree. The student has earned their completion badge for this lesson and should feel confident in moving onto the next lesson.

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
