Thanks very much for the effort you put into this feedback!

I certainly felt I had a lot of troubles with my lines, like you noticed. I'm as rookie as they come to drawing so I'm happy to feel it's slowly getting easier to get the marks where and how I want them to, but it's still a tough challenge for sure!

I also have poor control over line thickness I have noticed.

I been using a staedler 0,4 fineliner that I bought many years ago, maybe it doesn't flow as well as it should anymore, or it also might be me not holding it vertical enough? I think I'm putting enough or maybe even too much pressure on it sometimes, because the pressure sometimes 'carves' the lines out in the underlaying page.

I'll make sure to get some fresh ones by the time I get towards the 2nd lesson. =)

I will take your advice and focus specifically on some more funnel elipses as warmup for my 50%.

Hi!

No worries, and regarding the pen, maybe it's running out of ink or just too old, but it could also be that you need to hold it differently, just try different ways of drawing with it and if it still doesn't work, try a new pen :D
