Hey there Faizahol! I'll be handling the critique for your homework!
Lines
-
Kicking off with the lines, you are doing a good job at staying at a well-defined initial end, and keeping all the fraying on the other, however, there are some wobbliness and arching is apparent, this is due two not engaging your whole arm when drawing, please try to be mindfull of this issue on your future practice.
-
The same can be said to your ghosted lines, however, the wobbliness seems to be a little bit more dominant, and you seem to have some trouble with overshooting your linework, which is mentioned at https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/10/lifthand, however, keep in mind that at this stage, staying confident as you move your pen is much more important.
-
Onwards to the ghosted plane, the mistakes I mentioned is still perceptible on the first page, but you are doing a good job at toning them down on the second. On the other hand, you seem to not place dots for your lines drawn inside of the planes, this is a grave mistake, as placing a starting and ending point is crucial to the ghosting method.
Ellipse
-
Starting with the table of ellipse, on the first page they are looking a little bit rushed, especially with the smaller ellipses that doesn't get drawn through the required ammount of times, and the positioning is a little bit off. This isn't the case with your second page. But what they do have in common is rough edges, though the incidents of this on the second page is diminished. This again is due two not drawing confidently.
-
Moving on with your ellipses in plane, I think you are focusing on having them touches all 4 sides, as the wobbliness is very apparent in some of the ellipses. Keep in mind that our priority is smoothness.
-
Your middle funnels are well done, however the corners ones don't comply with the assignment, as they are not funnels. However your ellipses in them are neatly drawn.
Boxes
-
The plotted perspective is well done.
-
On the rough perspective you have tried to keep the alignment of the horizontal sides parallel and the vertical ones perpendicular, but your linework need improvement, some of them arch and wobble slightly. Relax and take your time while ghosting them and draw to your best of your current ability.
-
Your rotated boxes aren't the best, as they get distored quite heavily, and the size of them remain inconsistent. However this is a challenging assignment, and you shouldn't feel discouraged because of it. As all of this will be addressed in the box challenge.
-
Finishing with the organic perspective, here your box constructions are looking solid and believable, however some of your lines are being gone over several times and wobble.
Next Steps:
Please do one more page of ghosted line, and one more page of ghosted plane, make sure you draw your lines confidently, as accuracy isn't our priority at this stage. Your lines shouldn't repeat themself, either, even if they are way off the mark. After you have done your revisions, please reply to this message with it so I cann mark it as complete.
