Hello,

your lines are good, they are confident and straight. Also your ghosted planes look right :)

In your plotted perspective you have used only one vanishing point but if I am not mistaken there should be two vanishing points. So you could do that one again.

your ellipses look good as well but you could also give the funnels another try and try to make the ellipses more symmetrical.

Kind regards,

Cristina

Not expected to get another critique this fast. Thank you for give me some critique.

I think, the hardest part of the first lesson's homework are the ellipses section. More over for The Funnels and The Table of Ellipses. For funnel, it hard to plan the shape so, my ellipses often get wobbly. Meanwhile the Table of Ellipses, I don't know what I aimed when drawing those ellipses though they're already mentioned in the instructions.

Here my revisions:

I don't have any issues for the plotted perspective. But for the Funnels, as I mentioned before, some of them still wobbly. I tried another shot on the funnel variation but it ended failure.

Anyways, thanks again for your critique. If there something else that I could fix, don't hesitate to tell me!

I think this looks great :) The ellipses look more symmerical. But I agree, I have the same issue with wobbliness when soung ellipses, even straight lines. They are difficult.

So I guess this means you can go ahead and do the 250 boxes challange :)

You can go ahead to the 250 boxes challenge or lesson nr 2

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
