Thank you for the feedback, that's really helpful.

Thank you for the critique, it's very helpful!

I did have trouble adding line weight and getting the two lines on top of each other. The second point about the middle lines helps - I was kind of aware of this and just hoping I'd get better at it by the end but I often found one of the 4 lines ended up going off in the wrong direction.

Hi Benj, thanks very much for the feedback!

I have done another table of ellipses, trying to take your advice on board if you wouldn't mind having a look :

    More confident ellipses https://imgur.com/a/tdRP10k

I was drawing confidently but I'm having trouble getting both circles on top of each other.

I've actually done the 250 boxes as well, will I need to wait 2 weeks to submit these? I'm itching to know where I was going wrong!

    Thanks very much!

Thank you for the critique! I've moved onto the 250 boxes but will take a break and revisit my ellipses

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
