    Hi,

Here are some points that I think you should keep in mind and that could be improved in your next exercises:

LINES: in your exercise 1 some of them are very curved, in addition to not following the original line, they end up bending a little up or down before reaching the end point.

On the second page of lines, when you trained the curves, the lines are not starting from the start point, they start from different points which gives a "broom" impression at the beginning and end of the curved line you tried to make.

It is noticeable that there is still not much confidence when making the lines. Practice more ghost moves before drawing the line and this will help you become more confident.

Warm-ups: You can use 10 to 15 minutes to do them before starting any drawing activity. This will help you a lot!

I advise you to do more warm ups with the overlapping lines exercise.

    Next Steps:

    Next step: 250 boxes challenge

I really liked your lines. They look pretty confident and the more you practice, the more precision you will have when executing them.

Overall your exercises turned out great, I just advise you to continue practicing the lines and planes exercises with ellipses as a warm-up before starting any drawing practice. This will make your performance even better.

In my view, you are already prepared for the 250-box challenge.

    Next Steps:

Go to the 250 Boxes Challenge

    Helo!

Thank you very much for your review! It was very helpful to me.

I totally agree with your criticism of the rotated boxes. I got really, really hit from this exercise. I was very frustrated, but I understand that I'm learning and it's part of it. The corners were definitely the hardest. I got totally lost in the lines, my head got hot.

I have been doing the warm-up exercises before any drawing practice and I will continue to do the same! It has helped me a lot and it's noticeable how much it helps me make more confident lines.

I'm excited to start the 250 boxes exercise. I've drawn many of them (310, to be exact) since I decided to learn how to draw, but none of them have a very theoretical basis, which I really miss. I'm still very bad at this.

    ¡Hola!

    Hello!

I think that the improvement of lines is never too much.

Good lines are really the basis of everything, when it comes to drawing.

Try to make another page of the ghosted planes exercises, always using the ghost line technique and then continue with the 250 box challenge.

You are doing very well, I believe that during the challenge of the boxes you will improve even more.

    Next Steps:

    1 page of Ghosted Planes

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Hello, I was impressed that you finished all the exercises in 12 days. Maybe it was a little too fast.

Notice how in the last exercise your lines are very crooked and convey little confidence in the line.

I suggest that before eating the challenge of 250 boxes, you perform more exercises ghost lines, as they can help you improve the forms that have to draw in the future.

I believe it is beneficial for your learning to perform the box exercises again, when you feel your line more accurate.

I am impressed with the quality of your homework.

Keep practicing line exercises, to warm up before other tasks, to improve even more!

    Hi,

First I want to congratulate you on your effort to do all the homework proposed for lesson 1

Second, I think you still don't have enough confidence to make your lines. This lack of precision of the line ended up impairing your exercises of the boxes.

I believe that you can go on to the other lessons, but if you really want to do a more correct job, the ideal would be to train the ghost lines more.

    Hope this helps!

hey, I liked your exercise, I see that you dedicated yourself to doing it, but there is still a lack of confidence when it comes to tracing your circles and ellipses.

    Keep practicing!
