Hi,thank you for your critique,i was so focused drawing boxes i didn't the notice the fact i was putting the vanishing points to infinity, and yeah regarding the convergence lines and the hatching i was probably tired and i rushed them, definetely should have gone slower

Thanks again for the time you took to look at them and good luck to you too!

Thanks a lot Rokas,i appreciate your comment and yeah i definetely need to improve my construction, but it'll still be be a while until i reach lesson 3 and i think it's better to finish the 250 box challenge and lesson 2 before going to lesson 3 and beyond. What do you think?

As a first time,it's pretty good, try working more on the rough perspective and ghosted lines in your warm-ups,strive for a more confident line, some of yours are still a bit shaky

Good luck and keep up the work!!

Hi,definetely focus more on the big shapes and how to arrange the different elipses, cilinders, boxes to make the animal feel more 3D,i know the details are tempting but try not to get lost into them while doing the exercises.

As for using boxes to understand if the planes of the paws are in a correct perspective,is something you should definetely do,when drawing whenever you have a doubt make sure to look at a reference,it's an extremely important thing that often gets overlooked, some people feel like it's cheating, but it's not, you can't learn anything without observing a reference

Keep up the work and good luck

The super imposed lines would need a little more exercise, but you're definitely on the right track,if i were you i would make more warm-up exercises with elipses, maybe with the funnels exercise since i saw you had a little bit of problem fitting them,

last thing,in the organic perspective your boxes feel a bit rushed try to think about it next time you do it as a warm up

Happy new year and good luck for the 250 boxes challenge

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
