Thank you for your reply. You are very kind. It is true im more confident with my lines. I did something like 200 cylinders to practice drawing ellipses and im probably going to do the same with organic forms to get more mileage.

Thank you again for your review. I hope you will review my next work.

Hey thank you for your critic and remarks.

I agree with with everything you said. The redraw part is usually because I don't ghost enough, sometimes I'm too confident, I need to keep working on that.

For the hatching part, it's actually my bad. I didn't think it is something important and I didn't them with my wrist quickly. I will do them properly when training and practicing the boxes.

For the line weight, I didn't practice that part. I think I was way to focused on the converging and drawing the line. I guess with 100 more boxes i would be able to make progress there. I'll keep that in mind for sure.

I agree that I did stop pushing the vanishing point at a certain point but that's because I wasn't able to draw on my white desk. With my white desk I used to put the vanishing points literally on it, but with a black desk it was harder. I will do it when I get back to my office.

For the last part, I think I need to practice more. 250 boxes is a lot, but for someone like me I think I need more, at least 350.

Thank you again for your review and for your time.

Thank you for your kind words. I was expecting more criticsm and I was ready to redo the first lesson. I will try to avoid the grind but I will partice my lines for 10 to 15 minutes before getting into the boxes (it's not recommended in the first lesson ahah hence not grinding).

Thank again and have a nice day !

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
