    Hey Elodin,

Thank you for your feedback and the extra materials, I will look into those.

Also I am not doing enough warm up before diving into the exercises, do you have a motivational guide or routine when you do warm ups?

Thanks again and have a great day!

    Hey,

I think the rough perspective was good, it was meant to be hard execise.

And about the funnels, I meant to draw the ellipses with gradually growing degrees. So the width of the ellipse widens as you draw them closer to the opening ends. It is helps you to practice drawing the ellipses and in the same time understanding the width and depth of the funnel by drawing the ellipses gradually increased degree.

If you have more question I am happy to help, but maybe my way of commenting not as clear as I think, ask more opinions and watch the tutorials again to clarify.

    Hi,

I think what you uploaded was pretty good, the only thing I find out of order was the ellipses. On the two page where the ellipses pressed together tightly next to each other some ellipses has a pointy end instead of a smooth curve. Also on the Funnel exercise the elllipses has almost the same degree, which should be gradually increasing as you draw the ellipses futher out of the funnel, and the other way around as you draw closer to the narrow place in the funnel the degree of the ellipse should be smaller.

It is visible that you practiced a lot and gained some confidence in your lines. On the other hand I would recommend you to redo the funnel exercise, the ellipses on that page almost always have the same degree, which should be grow or dicrease in the inside and outside of the funnel.

And on the rough perspective exercise I would only draw the red line to touch the vertical line to the vanishing point.

    Hey Cyril,

    Thank you for your feedback!

I joined this course for exercise and challange myself, and to learn something new I've probably missed before. I really try to draw al the time from my shoulders, but sometimes old habbits lures back and I start drawing from wrist again. And my wrist is really weak recently, and I try to train and exercise to last longer and be stronger.

    Have a great day!

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
