Yes. All hail fish :)
Yes. All hail fish :)
You're welcome :)
It's not a problem at all.
Concerning the rotated boxes, I would recommend doing that during the 250 challenge as a warm up exercise.
But since that exercise takes so long to complete, it will probably take multiple days to finish it up since the purpose of it is for warm up (Warm up should take about 15 mins) and not the main thing that you should be focusing on.
After it's done, you can use any other exercise like the ghosted planes, superimposed lines etc. (Or if you want to do the rotated boxes again) as warm up.
Hello there!
I had a look at your work and here is what I think:
Lines
Ghosted lines: These look good. Some of the lines are passing/not reaching the end point by a little bit but they're still good.
Superimposed lines: Some of the lines (the longer ones) appear to be arching. Also the lines on the second page appear to be less accurate than the lines on the first page. I guess you were drawing them using a vertical arm motion so it's alright.
Ghosted planes: Your lines are really accurate but still appear to be passing the end point by a bit like in the ghosted lines exercise. I also noticed that some of your lines faded away when drawing them. Other than that, the lines were confidently executed. Good job.
Ellipses
Table of ellipses: You did nice but some of the ellipses are a bit wobbly.
Ellipses in planes: These are ok.
Funnels: And these are alright too.
Boxes
Plotted perspective: Nothing to say here. These look great.
Rough perspective: Some of the boxes appear to be wobbly and do not converge properly. But this will be fixed in the 250 box challenge.
Rotated boxes: I believe you can do this better if you try it again. Good effort.
Organic perspective: This one looks pretty good.
Next Steps:
Move on to 250 box challenge
Hello. Thanks a lot for being able to review my work! I really appreciate it.
I also apologize for the late reply, I honestly forgot that I had submitted this.
A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.
In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
