Hello, and congratulations on completing lesson one!

    Lines

There's definitely alot of wobble in your lines. Make sure your drawing though with your shoulder.

    Ellipses

Your Ellipses are good I can see you are drawing though them but the should be touching each other and the borders so I would definitely work on that.

    Boxes

Your boxes are good just the same issue with the lines.

Over all you've done very well and I can see you understand the assignments. I would recommend you do a page of the table of Ellipses. Make sure you keep them close and draw them though twice. Great job over all your well on your way to the 250 box challenge.

    Next Steps:

I would recommend you do 1 page of the table of Ellipses. Make sure you keep them close and draw them though twice

    Congratulations on finishing lesson one!

    Lines.

Your lines are good but I go see some wobble nothing practice can fix though.

    Ellipses.

Your Ellipses are very good, draw though with confidence and around twice. They also fit well in the borders great job.

    Boxes

Your boxes are good lines are drawn well, tho I do see you have a little trouble on some of them with construction. But that's what the 250 box challenge is for!

Over all beautiful work, I recommend you move on to the 250 box challenge. Make sure you do your warm ups, I've found it really dose make all the difference.

    Next Steps:

    250 box challenge

    Lines.

Lines are curving Slightly in one direction consistently, but are confident. Good job. try in your further practice to push the curve the other way to straighten it out.

    Boxes.

Your boxes are good for the most part, I can see in a few of them some wobble where you prioritized accuracy over confidence. But for the most part they are also very good. Well built and almost all of them show great follow through with you lines.

    Ellipses.

You fit the Ellipses into there spaces well, I see a little overlap but nothing practice can't fix. Your lines are confident and i can see that you took your time.

Wonderful job over all, keep up the good work. I can see you understood all the assignments well and I would recommend you move on the the 250 box challenge.

    Next Steps:

Next step is the 250 box challenge, I would practice straightening up your lines especially the longer ones in your warm ups.

Amazing work seems like you have it all pretty down. Keep practicing Ghosting your lines they look a little wobbly on rough prospective but with practicing I think you'll do great. I think you should pass.

    Next Steps:

Well done, next is the 250 box challenge!

Great improvement, the rotated boxes you really gotta make those corner boxes collapse pretty dramatically in to get it to round out but I can see you understand the goal. And the funnels look good your getting the ellipses way closer.

    Next Steps:

Next is the 250 box challenge, keep practicing your lines and you'll be well on your way! Great job!

    This looks really good!

Your lines are a little wobbly through out so I would definitely suggest practicing Ghosting your lines, make sure your drawing though them confidently. Accuracy is less important than them being straight and clear.

It looks like you missed some of the corner boxes on rotated boxes.

Over all it looks great and I think you understood the all the assignments really well. I would suggest you pass.

    Next Steps:

I think your doing great, practice your lines, next step is the 250 box challenge

Superimposed Lines - I notice alot of fraying at the beginning of your lines. Try to keep them all at the same starting point. I found it really helps to Ghost the lines alot, helps to get the muscle memory

Table of Ellipses - the ellipses need to touch the edges of the section. Remember to take your time really work on building up confidence in your strokes.

Ghosted Planes - looks good to me, your lines look nice here. I can tell you put in the work, great job.

Ghosted Lines - definitely alot of wobble here, take your time really ghosting the lines alot.

Organic Perspective - looks good you definitely understand the assignment here.

Ellipses in Planes - again just try to fit those ellipses a little snugger in the boxes. But over all good.

Funnels - try to add some variety in your ellipses here, tinner in the middle than rounder at the ends.

    Plotted Perspective - beautifully done!

Rough Perspective - The line work is my only critique, you definitely got this one though.

Rotated Boxes - your boxes aren't converging away and rotating properly. Try keeping them closer together. I think you need to redo this one.

I hope this was helpful, over all you've done very well.

    Next Steps:

I would suggest you redo your funnels and your rotated Boxes. Other than that it looks like you understand the lessons. Practice your lines to gain confidence. Keep up the good work!

Ellipse Master Template

Ellipse Master Template

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
