    Hi Lerin,

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and thorough reply!! Line confidence is definitely something I'm trying to improve, and it helps a lot to know I should leave my mistakes as they are and not draw over them. You're right- the boxes I draw over now just look marred and wonky, and I have to remember to leave only one stroke for each side regardless of perspective issues. I also noticed coming back to the planes exercise my lines are more accurate and confident, so I am improving, boxes are just hard haha. Thank you for the note about the organic perspective exercise; I wasn't quite certain I was doing it right and in the end I was just messing around with it. I'll make sure I do it correctly next time though.

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to review and critique my work, it really made my day

I genuinely think you did a really good job. Theres the occasional arc and missed line, but because most aren't I can see that you know and are working to improve that and that those are just occassional mistakes. Good work!

These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.

Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
