everything looks good :) you can move onto the 250 box challenge, just make sure to take your time ghosting because it seems like some of your lines tend to start off without confidence

    Next Steps:

    250 box challenge

superimposed lines - you need to do more lines and you need more length in it and you need to stop drawing a bunch of random distractions like cubes and cylinders and planes and ghosted lines and tiny curves but you have good confidence on all of them

ghosted lines - good lines it seems like you are good at angling them and you have good confidence. Your longer ones arc and wave a little bit and occasionally you go too far or too short of the dot so you will want to ghost more and make sure that you use your shoulder when making all lines (and especially the larger ones). Dont do superimposed lines on the side of this exercise because it is wasting space and distracting you from the purpose of the exercise.

planes - you have good lines again but it looks like you are making a new set of dots for each side of the planes instead of using on the old ones plus a new one to make a line. The reason that this is an issue is because it causes you to make gaps in your planes which causes them to look incomplete. You also wanna fill up the page as the corners arent used well which can lead to less mileage.

table of ellipses - good circles it seems like you are good at hitting the horizontal boundaries but the vertical ones sometimes undershoot. This may be an example of not ghosting enough on some circles and instead copying the muscle movement used in the last circle. You also need to overlap the circles once or twice more so that you can see how consistant you are

ellipses in planes - in general you are good at hitting the sides pretty close so i dont see an issue with this exercise besides you not overlapping enough

tunnels - good job hitting sides again and i see a good degree change just overlap more

plotted perspective - you only did 1 out of the 3 that you should have done. This comes down to not following the instructions again which will hurt you and your improvement. Besides that, it looks fine.

rough perspective - you only did 2 of the 6 that you should have done. You are nowhere near the amount of learning or improvement that most people should have at this stage due to how much work you skip and do wrong. Besides that... it looks fine but you have gaps between your cubes again which you can fix by using old points to draw a new line.

rotated boxes - you started off well but you did not put the fully rotated example boxes on the side, another example of you not following directions. In the first 5 boxes, you draw through a little bit at least but as soon as there are more boxes, you immediately stop and start doing planes instead. You disregard what is told to you so yet again you are not growing and learning how you should. I get a strong impression that you rushing through these exercises. You also added organic perspective into it which ruins the purity of the exercise.

organic perspective - you have good lines yet again although i see you often redrawing lines instead of ghosting more and drawing with intent before actually putting your pen down. To fix this you simply have to ghost some more and think about what you are going to do before doing it. This is mentally taxing but its necessary for improvement. Also, you drew faces on the boxes when it was explicitly told to you at the beginning of this course to not doodle on the studies because it dilutes the quality of it and you gain less from it.

Over all, you have good line confidence but you simply need to focus, respect the course more, follow directions more closely, and take your time. If you do this, you will have massive improvement. Its pretty clear that you have good line confidence but i think if you are more careful, you'll be a improve quickly. I know its exciting to get into the next lessons but to improve quicker you have to follow the lessons more closely and take your time so that you can gain more from the lessons. It seems like you skipped some of the videos, especially in lesson 0, or werent paying attention as well which will lead to gaps in your understanding. After watching thie videos, make sure to read what is written outside of the videos as this is more updated and more in depth and it addresses everything. In short, take your time watching videos and in making lines and do what your told and youll do well.

    Next Steps:

redo plotted perspective - this time do the reccomended amount but besides that you did the exercise right

redo rough perspective - you are understanding what to do but you need to get rid of the gaps between the lines in your boxes and you need to do two pages with 3 exercises per page

rotated boxes - draw through your lines and make them closer together and add the completely rotated boxes on the side

redo organic perspective - this isnt 100% necessary but i highly reccomend that you redo this as it is clear that you were not focused on the task and that you didnt follow instructions. This time, make 3 smaller sections of your paper and fill each of those with a organic perspective study instead of how you did it with two full pages.

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
