Lesson 4 : http://imgur.com/a/cnsYS

I will start working on the texture challenge whilst working on Lesson 5 to get some exposure to texture and maybe learning to apply it better to my drawings.

Here is my attempt at the challenge, I gave up at the 200 mark and left it a few months before completing, my main problem is stiffness in the ellipses, to be honest I probably improved my straight line work more than my ellipses.

There are some examples of my ellipse warm ups in the library too. Any more pointers to work on would me much appreciated.

Thank you for the feed back, I will work on the points you mentioned when working on the insects and any other work I create. I will start working on the texture challenge as well to try and get away from my reliance on hatching. If I do use hatching I will try and follow the forms better so that they do not flatten out.

Yeah you can probably pick up on random dots around the boxes where I tried to estimate but took a second look and moved it again sometimes multiple times. Anyway onto the next lesson/challenges.

Hi there, I have had a go at the 250 box challenge, I still have lapses on near/far plane, but I am getting there as time goes on, my problem is just estimating where the line should end up, after the drawing the Y it should just be a case of parallel lines, but getting them parallel and the same length is another matter, anyway here is the link.
