(sorry For my Bad English

Next Steps:

Super Imposed Lines

It looks okay for the most part and there are no fraying on both ends, but it still looks wobbly you don't have to revision this i just want to suggest to take this exercise as a warm-up for the next drawing session

Ghosted Lines

This looks incredible it seems that you challenge yourself to do a more longer lines this is good to challenge yourself to draw with the whole arm especially your shoulder. No revision here

Ghosted Planes

Although there are some wobbly lines here and there your planes are actually seems fine for the most part, but there are seems no dot on the lines that bisect the middle of the planes and this miight be a problem, because it can lead to confusion on where to put the bisecting lines in the middle of the planes that have already bisected by the"X" one. i request for a revision here

Tables of Ellipses

this is a bit messed up, there are more wobbly in this one and a little bit of confidence. Are you a bit afraid to do a mistake? Althogh the second page of the ellipses are fine, there are still more wobbly for the most part. I don't request a revision for this, but i will give you a bit of suggestion:

~Do this as a warm-up

~you wanted to utilize the ghosting method with this

~when you are starting, do it at a slower pace first until you find your comfortable velocity to touch the paper

~draw the ellipses 2-3 times, more than that consider a mistake

Ellipses in Planes

these are even ellipses, but the wobbliness of the ellipses distract me to judge the eveness of the ellipses. i wanted a revision of this considering the wobbliness and you drawing the ellipses that seem more than 3 times. My suggestion are all in the Top in the Tables of ellipses

Funnels

Seems fine for the most part, you maintain the ellipses with the minor axis and there are no execive spacing between it, but i would suggest you to vary the orientation of the ellipses it will give you a challenge on how to see the minor axis from a different angle of ellipses

Plotted Perspective

Nothing to say here

Rough Perspective

Nothing to say here your rough perspective are incredible, Although there are one repeating lines. There are still incredible

Rotated Perspective

Again nothing to say here, Your boxes are rotated

Rough Perspective

These are some nice boxes although there are some mistakes, but there are far less than the undestandable ones

Sorry for being so late, I've been kinda busy with work so I haven't been getting much time lately. But I'll finish the revision as soon as I can.

Hi!

http://imgur.com/a/BQ2cbPG

I finished the revision but I accidentally forgot to take a picture of the planes before drawing the ellipses. But I assure you that they're all new ones. I guess I'll start doing the 250 box challenge from today onwards.

MOve to the 250 Box Challenge

Next Steps:

I'm marking this lesson as complete now because of the revision submission taht you assigned yasterday.

Ghosted Planes

they are all are really great, you build your confidence allong the way and i did notice that in the second page of the exercise

?

Ellipses On Planes

Most of them are good enough considering their smoothness and eveness of the ellipses, and some are a bit to wacky like the ellipses in the half part of the planes don't fill in the most part of the planes and make the ellipses look a bit like an aliens head

?

but, overall you have already done a good job on this lesson and i hope your good luck on the next lesson, which is the 250 box challenge

That's a nice attempt at the exercise there. Before i start sounding like I hated this submission,I'll have to tell you that your work in all the exercises is much better than the average except for the ellipses. I would have given you the greenlight to progress on if you hadn't done the funnels the way you did ie with not drawing through the ellipses twice. I see you've attempted it 4 times though, which makes me feel a bit bitter about saying this, but it is still important that you've drawn through every ellipse twice. The process just improves your confidence at drawing one so much more. Before i get into the actual critique, ill put it right here that I want one page of funnels in which it is fixed.

Anyway

Here's the detailed critique:

Super imposed lines: nicely done. You started out with wobbly lines but the wobble reduced significantly by the end of the exercise. So good work with that. There is fraying on both ends though which is something you skimped out on

Ghosted lines and planes: There are a few curvy and wobbly lines here but that's to be expected. You have significantly improved on the straightness of your lines by the second time you attempted the planes for the ellipses. The straight lines were straighter but the ones that weren't remained the same. You can easily do much better. What you have here is just your nerves getting the better of you. Give yourself time while ghosting each line. Your nerves will gradually start behaving as you want them to.

Ellipses: I am going to leave general pointers for what went wrong with your ellipses here. You seem to get what they are for but the ellipses themselves are pretty wobbly I must say. What I recommend you to do for better ellipses is to ghost a bit faster, that way the wobble just gets flattened out. You will have terrible ellipses at first, because you arent used to the speed. Think of it not much more than scribbling circularly if it helps you get over the fear of making a bad ellipse. Once you've got scribbly ellipses, try working on tightnening the curves up so that the multiple times you've gone through them kinda start merging into one. You'll get better at it with practice, slowly but surely. About the funnels, I'll have to say there's a lot done right here, you have the setup done perfectly which if isnt the case, works against your ability to do the funnels properly. You generally have the accuracy done ok, just that you need to build confidence and for that youll have to keep practicing these exercises

Boxes: Almost perfectly done i must say. In rough perspective you do have wobbly lines though, like everyone who does it yhe first time. You are jist getting overwhelmed by the idea of drawing a box, take some time and give proper care to ghost each line nicely before putting it down. Apart from this, the rotated boxes are done well , really well, apart from the distance between boxes increasing too much on the right end. For the organic perspectice, I dont have much to say, can't really find flaws in it

Yeah, that's about it.

Do reply with a page of the funnels with the ellipses drawn through twice before moving onwards

Yup that's better. You also have significantly improved on your wobble in the ellipses. There a few sharp turns here and there, but, you'll get better with practice. There isn't much of a point in holding you back here. Keep practicing ghosting lines and ellipses as you move on through the 250 boxes challenge

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
