Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Hope it's good.
Hi there,
I've got nothing much to say because overall you've done pretty good.
Super-imposed lines - looking good. You took your time to align your pen to the starting point and executed your lines with confidence.
Ghosted lines - you did good. Your lines look smooth and confident although there's a lil tiny bit of wobbly in some of your lines. also try not to overshoot.
Ghosted planes- looking good. Nothing much to say here.
Tables of ellipses - great job. Your ellipses are looking good. They're smooth tight and tightly packed. One problem here is that some of your ellipses overshoot the top And bottom boundaries. Remember they are supposed to be within the boundaries.
Ellipses in planes- i don't know what happened here with the ellipses because one they are not tight. I think here you prioritized accuracy over smoothness. Chances are that you did not ghost enough. Don't worry if your ellipses don't stay within the boundaries. Just ghost and without thinking excecute your ellipse with confidence trusting your muscle memory.
Ellipses in funnels - looking good. One problem some ellipses overshoot each other. Also the ones on the bottom corner don't follow the minor axis
Plotted perspective - no words
Rough perspective - looking good. One problem is your lines. They are pretty wobbly. Shows that you weren't sure of where they should go. As i said before just ghost and trust your musle memory. Its better your line goes the wrong direction but it be confident and smooth. Other than that i think you fulfilled the aim of the exercise
Rotated boxes- good but not really good. This exercise is usually very hard especially for beginners. Because your mind isn't used to thinking about how forms rotate in 3d space. Although your rotation isn't quite correct i think overall you're not far off. With time I'm sure you'll be great.
Organic perspective - wow.. Great job here.. I really struggled with this exercise but for you i think you nailed it. I can't say its perfect but for the first trial good job.. I got nothing else to say
Congratulations on finishing lesson 1. Good luck as you move on to the 250 box challenge. And overall good luck on your art journey..
Next Steps:
Good job on lesson 1.
Move on to the 250 box challenge
A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.
In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
