More details on the imgur page, but long story short - I'm a complete novice, very little experience drawing / shading colouring. And this was a submission for a fan art contest.

I say this is my first ever drawing because although i've doodled in work during quiet periods many times, this drawing was the first thing i fully threw myself into with devotion, and felt proud of the outcome considering. It's only after completing this that i considered learning to draw properly.

I used Aseprite and the default colour palette that comes with it to draw this.

I welcome criticism with open arms.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
