Hi Asher,

Thank you for having the courage to submit your work even though its done in pencil. Please read this article https://drawabox.com/article/ink.

I would advise you to please redo the exercises in ink now that you have your felt tip pen. Because ink is so unforgiving that you are aware of every mark you put down. I understand the lack of having the ink pen while doing the exercises but please redo in pen. I've really seen myself improve after lesson 1 using ink. Pencil doesn't really help a lot. I'll just point out your mistakes.

  1. Super imposer lines they are good. But remember pencil and ink are different mediums soo please redo this exercises with ink and see the difference

  2. Ghosted lines- most of them are wobbly. Shows you have not yet mastered the act of pivoting from your shoulders. Its even harder to get smooth lines with ink because every single wobble is clearly seen.

  3. Your ghosted planes aren't quite visible so i can't critique them.

  4. Tables of ellipses - the first page is so messy and sketchy and is not complete. The second page is better and i like how the ellipses are smooth. also good work ensuring they touch the top and bottom boundaries and ensuring they are tightly packed. But remember that's pencil. Believe me its soo hard to get a smooth ellipse using ink. This is the part i struggled most with.

  5. Ellipses in planes- are good they are smooth and thats what the exercise is aiming for. Hope u used the ghosting method there

  6. Plotted perspective is obviously pass

  7. Rough perspective.. One problem here is how sketchy the boxes are. Also the cross hatching is wrong. Remember to use ghosting method when cross hatching. Your lines are also wobbly. Apart from that your good. Perspective wise, not bad but not perfect your need to continue practicing them in your warm ups.

  8. Rotated boxes- wow, im surprised. Your rotation is good but not yet perfect. But wow,, you nailed rotated boxes down.. And you did a good job not being sketchy here.

  9. Organic perspective - good job with line weight. Perspective is a lil bit off but don't worry about that. We work on perspective in the 250 box challenge.

That's all good work for submitting your work. Please redo in ink. It will help you
