Hi and congrats on completing lesson one. I'll be taking a look at your submission today. You appear to have forgotten to include your superimposed lines in your imgur album. So I'm gonna need you to submit those before I can mark this as complete. Your ghosted lines and planes turned out pretty good. Your appear to be getting more comfortable with the ghosting method and confident linework especially on your redone pages of ellipses in planes which is great. Your accuracy is also quite improved here which just goes to show that practice leads to improvement.
Your table of ellipses are coming along fine. You are doing a good job drawing through your ellipses and you seem to be focusing on getting consistently smooth ellipse shapes. Your first attempts at the ellipses in planes felt a bit wild and rushed but your redone pages are showing nice signs of improvement. I'm noticing in your ellipses funnels that you aren't drawing through all of your ellipses. You need to be drawing through EVERY SINGLE ELLIPSE you draw for all of these lessons without exception. Even if you feel like you nailed it the first time through. So this is just a reminder. I'm also noticing on some ellipse that you drawing through like 4+ times which tends to get a bit messy. Try and limit your draw throughs to 2 - 3 times max. Overall I think your ellipses are heading in the right direction but there's plenty of room for improvement here so keep practicing these during your warmups.
Your plotted perspective looks great nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective boxes turned out pretty well. Your linework is looking mostly confident and smooth here although I am seeing a bit of wobble returning to some of your lines. This is most likely happening because you are reverting to drawing from your wrist so that is something you should keep an eye on. You should always be drawing from your shoulder with confidence. Even on short lines. Your wrist should be reserved for detail work only. You did a nice job extending the lines back on your boxes to check your work. As you can see some of your perspective estimations were quite off but that will become more intuitive with practice.
Your rotated box exercise was a decent attempt. Your linework is looking good here and you did a nice job drawing through your boxes and keeping your gaps narrow and consistent. You didn't quite nail the rotations which is sort of to be expected due to the difficulty of the exercise. This is a great once to come back to after a few lessons to see how much your spatial thinking ability has improved. Your organic perspective exercise turned out okay. I'm seeing that you are developing a habit of redrawing lines which I think you should avoid for these exercises. Try and put down one line and stick with it even if it is slightly off. Your box constructions actually look pretty decent for the most part and I'm sure they've gotten much better since you've already completed the 250 box challenge.
This was a pretty good submission overall with a nice amount of growth shown throughout these pages. I think you are understanding most of the concepts these lessons are trying to convey pretty well. I'm still going to need you to submit those superimposed lines so I can take a look at them before I can mark this as complete but I'm sure they're fine.
