first thing i see is your ellipses. when you are doing ellipses make sure you only do a stroke it 1-3 times only. Second is your boxes. make sure you take your time ghosting so it doesnt look wobbly, and make sure do not redraw on top of the wobbly line you made on the first try, if its wobbly just make sure in the next box its not wobbly. Do not rush your hatching because it will make it messy. for better looking boxes in organic perspective make sure to check the boxes:additional notes.

Next Steps:

  • do ellipses but only 1-3 strokes

  • do boxes with confident strokes(organic, rough)

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

thanks for the help, I noticed I have the nasty habit of redrawing my lines.

I did two pages of ellipses because I figured that it would help with the boxes and the ellipses.

I also did two pages of ellipses in planes to practice the ellipses.

I also did another page of funnels also to practice ellipses

last but not least I did one page of plotted perspective to try to get the boxes better

You should also do 1 page of organic and rough. Your Ellipses are good now

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
