Hi,

I think you've done a good job, a few critiques and additions of note,

Additions:

Rough Perspective: Extend your lines back to the vanishing point with a pencil to see how much you missed the mark by.

Organic Perspective: Add line weight to clarify overlaps

Critiques:

Lines: Your lines are pretty good for the most part, except in a few cases where you lose confidence and wobble a little, but I think you've got the concept of drawing confident lines for the most part. Slight bit of arcing in a few lines especially the longer ones, which is bound to happen and is not a huge worry, make sure you're using your shoulder. I've noticed that you've tried repeating lines a few times throughout your homework, it is very important that you don't repeat lines. Even if your line has missed the mark slighty, it's okay, just let it be and move on, once a line is put down, theres no taking it back.

Ellipses: Very nice work! Most of your ellipses are confident for the most part, good job. Your funnels are well-done too, with all ellipse minor axes matching the line correctly.

Boxes: You need to extend your vanishing points to the VP in the rough perspective exercise, although I used a ruler to check some of your boxes, and the extensions seem to converge at the VP, so good work. Anyways, once you extend your lines to the VP, post the same page again and reply to this message.

Good work overall, you should be ready to move onto the 250 box challenge.

Next Steps:

Extend your lines for the rough perspective, and I'll mark the lesson as complete. Also add line weight to clarify overlaps in your organic perspective exercise. Well done.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Hello there, thank you very much for taking the time to review my work i have now posted the corrections you suggested this is the link to it http://imgur.com/gallery/JR0WSL9

Now by the time i read your comment I had already finish with the 250 boxes challenge i will post the link to that one too. I am aware that i did not follow all the instructions properly on that one but I can say with confidence that it was a very useful exercise.

Marking this as complete, if you want to re-submit what's been asked of you you can still do it, just making sure you get the badge for completing Lesson 1

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
