Hello clayman127,

2 filled pages of Superimposed lines - A lot of good lines here, others can use some work. Some of your lines appear to have multiple starting points. Please make sure you take the time to align your pen tip to the starting point when you do any superimposed line.

1 filled page of Ghosted lines - Good. You did a good job hitting the starting point dot. With more practice, you will be reaching both ends in no time.

2 filled pages of Ghosted planes - I am assuming you reused your ghosted planes for the ellipses in planes exercise. Your lines are looking good here.

2 filled pages of Tables of ellipses - Nice! I like how you are drawing your ellipses large. I should do the same.

2 filled pages of Ellipses in planes - More ghosting will help you in the future. I can tell you tried hard to hit all four interior sides with your ellipses.

1 filled page of Ellipses in funnels - Looking good.

1 filled page of Plotted perspective - When you do this in the future, please try to draw the lines back to the vanishing point. Some of your lines seem to go past the vanishing point.

2 filled pages of Rough perspective - You tried your best on this exercise and you will get better overtime. The next time, you may want to draw larger boxes.

1 filled pages of Rotated boxes - You did this exercise mostly correct. Please use this as reference: https://d15v304a6xpq4b.cloudfront.net/lesson_images/5f4fef59.jpg and try to get the upper diagonal corners. I know this exercise is difficult, but I know you can do it. You may want to draw your boxes a bit larger.

2 filled pages of Organic perspective - Good. I like how you overlap your boxes. After you do the 250 box challenge, you will be much better at this.

Please see the next steps. You are almost ready.

Lars

You did a good job correcting your mistakes. You will get better at the rotated box exercise when you come to practice is later after you finish the 250 box challenge.

Good luck to you Clayman127! You are ready for the 250 box challenge.

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
