Hi Awarmsnowflake,

I decided to check your home work, so let's go with it.

Lines look confident and smooth, thats a good sign. Keep working with them by following these steps https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/9/levels to manage more accuracy. With Superimposed lines i will recommend you to work more on your Warm ups, to achieve your lines closer to each other.

Ellipses and circles look confident. In tables of ellipses you were keeping them close to frames. Shape of your ellipses is really good. Some of them you managed to do even smooth. In funnel exercise your corner ellipses are missing consistency. They should have this same Minor axis. I recommend you to re-make them in your warm up time to draw it in correct way.

Perspective exercises look fine. In plotted one, i see you played a little bit with different angle for your boxes ( nothing bad, it looks like you tried something extra for your exercise). In rough perspective i like how close you are with your Vanishing lines. Working like this and you will get them all in 1 point. I like your rotated boxes exercise. it seem keeping flow of rotating.

Well done with your Homework. I am marking this Lesson as Complete and i recommend you to keep all of this exercises as a warm up. During them focus on your weaknesses and mistakes. Don't be afraid of mixing exercises. Use your imagination for it to manage that what you need.

Next Steps:

Go for 250 Box Challenge

This community member feels the lesson should be marked as complete, and 2 others agree. The student has earned their completion badge for this lesson and should feel confident in moving onto the next lesson.

Hi Hamsetro, thank you very much for your critique! I'll do as you say and keep practicing these things during my warmups. Thanks again!

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
