Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Certainly not perfect, but I feel like I've improved a lot!
Congrats der gute fisch for completing the assignad exercises for lesson 1. Here's my critique:
lines
I see fraying on both ends in the a part of the superimposed lines exercise. This means that you didn't take the time to reposition your pen on the starting point, but it's only a bit so thats ok. There is a bit of wobble maybe you should try to make your lines faster but it's definitely in the expected range for the lesson.
your ghosted lines are pretty accurate and smooth good job!
ellipses
so. your ellipses are a bit off part of your ellipses are deforming from the circular shape because you are trying to keep them in the bounds you need to remember that smoothness is more important than accuracy. and about funnels: it's look like you didn't understood what that the purpose of the exercise is to make you to try using minor axis but your middle lines in the "funnels" wasn't even the minor axis i will suggest you to redo it
boxes
You overextended the lines in the rough perspective. They need to arrive to the horizon line, no less, no further. It looks messy otherwise.
your rotated boxes looks OK but few of tham are not realy rotating btu only moving in space you can see this mistake here but the other boxes shows you tried and did your best! so that's OK your organic perspective looks ok but you didn't apply any forshorting for some of the boxes do i will suggest you to take a look on the boxes session and the perspective notes again. On rough perspective, width lines should be parallel to horizon and height lines perpendicular to horizon.
This is a hard task but this is important to keep in mind.
have a great day!
Next Steps:
do another page of funnels this time the minor axis need to be exactly in the middle of the two arcing lines (where it should be) and read the exercise notes carefully and And remember that smoothness is more important than accuracy after you finished please put the link down below so i could mark your lesson as complete
Sorry that it took me awhile to get around to this.
I definitely feel like my ellipses could've been tighter in general but here it is
Funnels Attempt II: https://imgur.com/a/hL2NEXn
I had a harder time constructing the funnels on the edges of the page so there are some notible mistakes there. Tried to focus more on aligning the minor axis to the center this go round as well as tried to make my ellipses more flowy but still fell into some old habits.
Thanks for your time!
nice i am marking your lesson as complete
Next Steps:
250 box challenge
While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.
The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
