Hello again! I will take a look at your revision. I hope I didn’t come off as rude in my critique, I was just concerned you didn’t leave with an understanding of these two exercises.

It’s looking great! I’m glad you took your time. You did pretty well on your plotted perspective and on your funnels. The only thing I will point out in your funnels exercise is, like before, you could’ve started with a narrow central ellipse. But, I see you heeded my advice to improved on your ellipse making, I am really happy to know it helped you! Of course, they can still get better, so, short 10 to 15 min warm-ups for the ellipses, and also ghosted lines or planes exercises, will help. I will mark your work as complete.

Highly recommend you ask for feedback on the discord server while you work on the box challenge, we can clear any doubts you have there. Congratulations on completing lesson 1. Oh, and I hope you succeed with your indie game development as well! Good luck!

Next Steps:

Tackle the 250-box challenge.

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
