Well, I learned some things since my monkey art. I took me a lot of effort to draw anything without erasing a single line. It was so challenging but I got through it somehow. I didn't draw everyday. Sometimes I didn't do a thing for a weak. I like my progress even though this picture is far away from perfect. I found that I messed up the left wing completely. It's not all that bad. In my opinion the fur is drawn really great. Lines are smooth enough and what else do I need rn? Although I find it hard to make them smooth cause they are not stright. Yeah, u focus on stright lines so much in this course that when it comes to curves u mess it up.

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
