hey Maht!

hope you are having a great day/night

i just checked your submissions and one thing i noticed in the lines exercise is that you are fraying as its discussed in the lesson that students make that mistake like the starting point of the ghosted lines and curves are all on one point but you may overshoot or get a bit out of line with the second point which is completely fine! you did get better in the planes which is great

love the elipses and the rotated boxes exercise u nailed them!

in the rough perspective exercise however i noticed that your lines for the boxes were a little shaky which means you are slowing down to make the lines straight but they end up wobbly so i would suggest just go for one nice long ghosted stroke and make sure u ghost it many times and dont slow down or stop in points to try and do a perfectly straight line cuz if u slow down the line will appear wobbly

Next Steps:

so just to get a little more clear to u i would like you to do one more page of rough perspective and lemme see them boxes nice and confident ok!!!

you got this!!

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

hello SHADY4SKETCHER!

I'm really gratefull of your feedback. I agree that my rough vp is a mess, i redo as you said but the outcome isn't nice. i did some warms up, ghosted line, planes, even rvp boxes but when i go the actual paper, all my line just become wobbly my eyes won't even want to see it xD. This is my one page of rvp boxes, if you want me to try more, tell me and i'll do it.

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
