You Definitely don't need to repeat everything. I would say just focus more in the future on hightlighting the stuff that is in front.

Thanks! Yeah I have a bad habit of pressing too hard which I'm trying to work on so I can have lighter construction lines.

Hi, I think you still need some more practice for this lesson. When you draw your lines they seem shaky and stiff. Try to use your whole arm while drawing a line so the line comes out confident and smooth. When drawing leafs and flower petals have the lines flow on the page since that's how flower petals and leafs are in nature. I think your understanding of construction is there, but focus on smooth lines. Don't let your brain get in the way since if you do let your brain overcomplicate things you get shaky lines. Let your whole arm do its job and you will get the result you want. I hope this helps!

Next Steps:

Go back to Lesson 1 and 2.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Thanks! Yeah that's definitely something to work on. I'll go back and redo some of the older lessons. I especially have a lot of trouble wiith ellipses.

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
