It was a rough and fun ride..but more of a rough haha
Judging by your work and my experice on this lesson not that bad I would usually point out a mistake about your work but i dont see anything bad about your work overall almost like your perfected this lesson nice job.
Next Steps:
So after you done with lesson one its preetty highly recommend you do the 250 box challege before doing lesson 2 if you feel like your lacking something dont be afriad to go back on the assigment.
I appreciate the comment. Thanks!
Hi!
I also took a really long time completing this lesson (completed it yesterday and took 9 months).
You did a great job! The only critique I would have is to draw through the boxes in the last excersize but they look really good so no problem otherwise.
Now the next rough part the boxes challenge! XD
Next Steps:
250 boxes next!
A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.
In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
