Here i take off. This is today's progress. Began around 14:50 taking time to read the exercises with care and ended on around 16:15(?).

The Superimposed Lines exercise was satisfying at the end and it convinced me enough to be able to do it fine for warmup, but the Ghosted Lines exercise i wasn't being completely sure what are the best rotations for me so i did rotate for every line i do while the angle i take to markmake was mostly straight AND the way i had to hold my pen... because Uncomfortable used Photoshop(?) as his whiteboard on the videos i couldn't understand clearly how the pen is meant to be hold. Few lines, i think, were completely fine enough for me.

At first i wanted to do all the exercises without seeking feedback midway but being uncertain i decided to screw it and post partial submissions anyway. Aswell before doing proper exercise pages i had to take my time to put on a "test" page to preview my first strokes before proceeding. Hope i was confident enough. Ghosted Planes isn't certainly going to be easier than the two, especially considering the fact i was about to begin to sweat in the Ghosted Lines exercise.

I'm in the Discord server, just that i'm not speaking except when someone gives me feedback so find me there (my nick is aleF2050) and mention me. Besides i won't be checking all the time (thankfully?) so it's just a showing of how i'm beginning my steps.

It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
